WHAT IS MBCT?
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy has been shown to reduce anxiety, depression, lower stress, and strengthen where we choose to place our attention.
Attention is control.
Attention keeps you present when the roar of the situation wants to rip you out of it. This control gives us the power to decide how we want to interpret a situation and how we want to respond.
This power is freedom.

ABOUT
Liat Yanai
My first meditation retreat was 23 years ago. The Superpower (as I like to call mindfulness) is the understanding that no matter what life throws at us, what counts is the way we chose to interpret our experiences.
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teaches us how to focus our attention, live less on automatic pilot, and learn to take a pause between a stimulus and our reaction...breath by breath.
Credentials:
Trained in psychodrama therapy with a specialization in MBCT from Reichman University, I also work as a private therapist in Tel Aviv.
